My child was incredibly lucky not to have fallen or been injured. These skates were used strictly as intended: just slow skating for fun.
A wheel should never fall off completely during normal use. This raises serious concerns about the product’s quality and safety.
After contacting SkatePro, the store refused to take the skates back and refund the money, and simply advised checking all screws before use. In my opinion, this is an unacceptable response to a matter of children’s safety. Based on a photo, they cannot claim that the threads are in good condition. Even if a bolt loosens, it shouldn’t fall out completely along with the wheel during normal skating.
My child no longer feels safe on these skates, and neither do we, as parents. We are very disappointed with both the quality of Powerslide products and the customer service at SkatePro.
