Die Vintage Rollerskates von Chaya sind eine wunderschöne Hommage an die coolen 1970er Jahre, jener Zeit also, in der vergnügliche Tanzeinlagen in der Roller-Disco und entlang der Strandpromenade das tägliche Leben bereicherten. I put these skates on and it took me back to the roller rink of my childhood with a disco ball, great dance music, and 80’s hair. Will I sprain my bad ankle (again)trying to recreate the moves I used to be able to do 30 or so years ago? Probably. But will it be worth it? Definitely. I had two Japanese craft beers, put them on, and skated around my house until my husband told me I had to put them back into the box until my birthday, almost a month away. Killjoy. He doesn’t get the freedom my holographic pink skates give me. I am no longer a boring late thirties mother and homemaker. Great skates very responsive. Soft wheels are good outside. They do come up on the small Side though I could of done with half a size bigger but got my shoes size because the guide was men’s and was worried they would be to big. Hoping I can wear them in a a stretch them out. | |
